Since joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Woodford has advised clients on a wide range of strategic alternatives including mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), re-capitalizations, management buyouts, and capital formation. Greg has worked with both public and private companies ranging in size from $15 million to $250 million and on transactions involving many of the industry's leading companies including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, CACI International, Cobham, plc., ICF International, ManTech International, and SAIC, among others. He has also completed transactions with many industry leading private equity groups including Veritas Capital, New Mountain Capital, DC Capital, and Edgewater Funds.
Prior to joining BBTCM|WG, Greg was a Research Equity Analyst with Ferris, Baker Watts Inc. covering the government contracting industry. He previously worked for the Institutional Research group of Branch Cabell & Co. in Richmond, VA.
Greg holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, and a BA from the University of Richmond.
