Experience
Mr. Maness is a Vice President at BBTCM|WG, where he provides financial advisory services primarily to defense technology and government services firms. Over the past seven years, Sam has advised on numerous client engagements including buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and fairness opinions. Sam’s experience includes transactions involving some of the leading companies and investors in the defense and government services industry, including the Boeing Company, L-3 Communications, QinetiQ, Anteon (General Dynamics), MTC Technologies (BAE), ManTech International, ICF Consulting, SRA International, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Veritas Capital and DC Capital Partners.

Prior to joining BBTCM|WG in 2002, Sam worked in the Corporate Finance Investment Banking Group for BB&T Capital Markets at its headquarters in Richmond, VA.

Education
Sam received a BA from Duke University with a double major in Economics and German.
