Andrew G. Collina
Mr.Collina has over 18 years of middle market mergers and acquisitions experience having spent the majority of his career within investment banking. He has completed over 35 mergers and acquisitions transactions valued at approximately $1.5 billion and over 30 equity and debt capital raise transactions valued at approximately $2.5 billion.
Mr.Collina brings a unique perspective and skill-set to BB&T Capital Markets’ private equity clients, having not only sell-side M&A experience, but also both corporate and private equity buy-side experience. Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets in 2010, Mr.Collina was a Principal at Castanea Partners, a $575 million private equity firm based in Boston, MA. His experience also includes Director of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), as well as various investment banking positions at RBC Capital Markets, Tucker Anthony Sutro and BancBoston Robertson Stephens. Mr.Collina began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP.
Mr.Collina received an MBA from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
