Mr. Wolf has followed the Food & Drug Merchandising sector for BB&T Capital Markets since 1999. In its "World's Top Analysts" survey recognizing the top analysts in 2010, Financial Times/StarMine named him #2 in the food & staples retailing (for both his stock picking and earnings estimates); he also was named #1 in 2009 (for earnings estimates).  Forbes.com ranked Mr. Wolf #5 in 2009 and #2 in 2008 in the food & drug retailers, wholesalers industry in its "Blue Chip Analyst" awards; performance is based on three years of both earnings estimates and recommendations.

Mr. Wolf also was cited in The Wall Street Journal’s annual “Best on the Street” analyst survey for his stock picks in food/drug retailing in 2009, as well as in 2003 and 2004. He also ranked in the top three for stock picking (2001–2004) and for earnings estimating (2001–2003, 2006) by Financial Times/StarMine in its annual Analyst Awards survey, and he has been named to its Honor Roll for consistent performance (one of only nine analysts since 2001). Mr. Wolf is also a member of the CFA Institute.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wolf was an equity analyst on Wall Street for more than seven years, beginning with Kidder Peabody and spending the next six years with Merrill Lynch.

Education

Mr. Wolf is a graduate of McGill University, where he received a bachelor of commerce degree, and he earned an MBA from Babson College. Mr. Wolf is also a member of the CFA Institute.
