F. Carter Leake
Mr. Leake, who joined BB&T Capital Markets in April 2011, follows the Aerospace & Defense sector. Prior to joining the firm, he was an equity analyst at Davenport & Co., LLC, where he was awarded Institutional Investor magazine's "Best Up & Comer" award for Aerospace & Defense in 2010. Prior to his Wall Street career, Mr. Leake worked for 15 years in the aerospace and airline industry at Delta Air Lines, SH&E Consulting, Bombardier Aerospace, and most recently at Mesa Air Group. He served seven years in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and holds a commercial instrument pilot rating.
Mr. Leake earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master's in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
