Douglas H. Bretz
Experience
As the Head of Debt Securities Trading, Mr. Bretz is responsible for directing the debt trading operations in Capital Markets. He works closely with sales and investment banking to maximize Capital Markets business. Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets, Mr. Bretz’s career included Capital Markets debt origination, with LaSalle Bank in London England and Boca Raton Florida and managing the fixed income trading desk at Wachovia Securities in Richmond Virginia and Blunt Ellis and Loewi in Chicago Illinois.

Mr. Bretz graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
