Heather L. Jones
Mrs. Jones, who follows the Agribusiness/ Consumer Foods sector, has been with BB&T Capital Markets since 2001. She was ranked #1 in the food industry by Forbes.com in its 2009 “Blue Chip Analyst” awards survey; performance is based on three years of both earnings estimates and recommendations. In 2007, Mrs. Jones placed third in her industry in The Wall Street Journal’s 15th annual “Best on the Street” report of the top stock pickers for 2006.
Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Jones was an associate analyst with Bear Stearns in New York City, where she followed the food sector. Before that she was a consumer analyst with Evergreen Funds.
Mrs. Jones graduated cum laude from Liberty University with a bachelor of science in economics and has completed all coursework towards a Ph.D. in economics at George Mason University.
