Jason D. Bass
Experience
Mr. Bass, Managing Director, joined BB&T Capital Markets in March 2000. Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets, Mr. Bass worked in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in Philadelphia. Mr. Bass’ corporate finance experience includes public and private offerings of equity, debt and convertible securities, leveraged recapitalizations, and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Mr. Bass has played a key role in more than 100 corporate finance and M&A transactions. Today, as Co-Head of the Logistics & Transportation Services Investment Banking Group, Mr. Bass focuses his time on business development and transaction execution for companies in the third-party logistics, trucking, transportation equipment, supply chain technology, and marine transportation industries.
Education
Mr. Bass is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
