Jeff E. Morris
Jeff E. Morris is a Senior Vice President and Head of the Financial Strategies Group in the Debt Capital Markets division at BB&T Capital Markets. He is responsible for all financial and portfolio strategies to institutional clients of the firm. Mr. Morris began his career in 1978 in the audit division of Ernst & Young, an international public accounting firm. During his time at the firm, he specialized in services to financial institutions, real estate development companies, and cotton merchandising entities.
Since 1983, he has served primarily in a financial strategies role with various investment banking and broker-dealer firms, providing strategic financial services to commercial banks, savings institutions, credit unions and other institutional investors.
Mr. Morris graduated in 1978 from the University of Memphis with a BBA degree in Accounting. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980.
He maintains active registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 9 and Series 10) and as a Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53).
