Mr. Kasprzak has followed the Building Materials sector at BB&T Capital Markets since he joined the firm in 1997. In its 2011 “World’s Top Analysts” survey, Financial Times/StarMine named him #1 for earnings estimates in building products and #3 for his stock picking. Mr. Kasprzak who was also cited by Financial Times/Starmine in previous surveys, has been named in the 2006, 2005, and 2000 “Best on the Street” analyst survey (including #1 in estimate accuracy) by The Wall Street Journal as well as the inaugural Street.com All-Star Analyst Survey. Mr. Kasprzak has also been included in the Reuters Survey of Mid to Smaller Company Investment Research on three separate occasions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kasprzak was a research analyst for four years at Davenport & Co., LLC.
Mr. Kasprzak, who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, also holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
