Ludolf H. Roell
Experience
As the Manager of Client Derivatives and Syndicated Finance, Mr. Röell oversees all facets of hedging clients' interest rate risk and the advisory, structuring, and distribution of syndicated credits lead by BB&T. Mr. Röell has 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. Of these 23 years, the first 12 were spent as a commercial real estate banker, large corporate banker, special assets officer, and leveraged lender. The last 11 years have been devoted to the capital markets specializing in loan syndications, private placements, mezzanine lending, and derivatives. Mr. Röell's diverse background brings a unique perspective to BB&T's clients as he is able to work with them to develop capital strategies to meet the demand of today's rapidly changing markets
Education
Mr. Röell graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Mr. Röell is active with both the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and Loan Pricing Corporation (LPC).
