Patrick A. O'Shea
Experience
Mr. O’Shea joined BB&T Capital Markets in 2006 as the head of Equity Transactions and currently serves as the head of Equity Capital Markets. Mr. O’Shea brings 17 years of investment banking experience and has 13 years of prior direct equity origination experience, having previously headed equity origination for five industry groups at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown. Most recently, he was founder and managing partner of Banner Capital Markets LLC, where he focused on equity capital formation for small-cap public companies.
Education
Mr. O’Shea earned an MBA in 1986 from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1980, also from the University of Virginia.
