Rex H. Green
Over his twenty-plus year career in corporate finance, Mr. Green has led numerous teams of investment bankers in the service of corporate clients seeking to evaluate and execute complex capital markets transactions. He personally has served as lead investment banker and successfully executed close to one hundred different transactions including divestitures, acquisitions, private placements, public offerings, recapitalizations, management buyouts and debt restructurings across a broad spectrum of industries. Over the past dozen years Mr. Green has focused primarily on the consumer industry, inclusive of the automotive aftermarket.
Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets in 2004, Mr. Green was a Managing Director at Advest, Inc., where he headed consumer products investment banking and before that, technology investment banking. Prior to that, Mr. Green was Partner-In-Charge of corporate finance for the New England region of KPMG Peat Marwick LLP. Mr. Green placed his tenure with Advest on hold for eighteen months while he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for a venture-backed internet services business which was sold to a subsidiary of the Havas Group.
Mr. Green received his MBA from The Stern School at New York University and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
