Ryan J. Mitchell
Mr. Mitchell is Co-Head of BB&T Capital Markets Commercial & Industrial Group. During his career, Mr. Mitchell has provided sell-side mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transaction advice to private equity groups and their portfolio companies, private companies and public companies. He has advised over 30 clients (including 15 private equity groups) in successful M&A advisory assignments, and he has also advised in numerous capital-raising and general advisory transactions. Mr. Mitchell joined BB&T Capital Markets in January 2001. Previously, Mr. Mitchell worked from 1998 – 2000 at Harris Williams & Co., a middle-market M&A advisory firm.
Mr. Mitchell operates out of BB&T Capital Markets' headquarters at Riverfront Plaza in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Mitchell received a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Vanderbilt University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
