Tommy Brewer
Mr. Brewer has more than sixteen years of healthcare experience with the last eight as a healthcare investment banker. Prior to joining BB&T in June 2003, Mr. Brewer spent three years at UBS PaineWebber and two years at First Union Securities, Inc., serving as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) and acute healthcare banker.
Preceding his investment banking career, Mr. Brewer served as the Chief Financial Officer for the non-acute care division of Bon Secours Richmond Health Systems (BSR). Prior to his CFO position, Mr. Brewer was the Vice President of Finance for the four acute care hospitals of BSR, and Vice President Finance of Richmond Memorial Hospital. During Mr. Brewer's tenure at BSR, he coordinated the financing and financial projections associated with Memorial Regional Medical Center, a new 200 bed replacement facility.
Mr. Brewer received his BS in Accounting and Business Management from Guilford College and is a CPA.
