William E. Hardy
Experience
Mr. Hardy is a Senior Managing Director in BB&T’s Debt Capital Markets Group. His responsibilities include the oversight of all fixed income, structured product and private placement origination activities within Capital Markets. He also serves as the Chairman of both the Taxable and Tax Exempt Commitment Committees.
Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets, Bill worked in a similar capacity at both Wheat First Securities and Nationsbank Investment Bank.
Education
Mr. Hardy received a BA of Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from The Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at The University of Virginia.
