Experience

Mr. Grover leads the BB&T Capital Markets Energy Corporate Banking Team based in Houston, Texas and its Corporate Banking Team in the Southwest, with offices in Dallas and Houston.

Mr. Grover joined BB&T Capital Markets in 2010 and is a member of its National Corporate Banking Leadership Team. With 32 years in the financial services industry, he has extensive experience in credit administration, middle-market banking, and specialized industry banking in the large corporate market.

Mr. Grover manages a team of industry-leading corporate energy bankers who focus on the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, as well as an experienced team of relationship managers that cover a seven-state territory from Texas to surrounding states delivering credit products to public companies and large private firms.

Prior to joining BB&T Capital Markets, Mr. Grover spent 24 years with Comerica Bank, where he served as a Credit Analyst, Middle Market Banker, Manager of the Loan Officer Development Program, and a Senior Relationship Manager in its U.S Banking (large corporate) Automotive Group. From 1998 to 2010, he served as Senior Vice President and Loan Group Manager leading a team of relationship bankers covering the large corporate market in the southern United States.

Education

Mr. Grover holds a bachelor's degree in economics and management from Albion College and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is a board member of the Dallas Hearing Foundation and an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
