Mr. Joe Sparacino is managing director of the BB&T Capital Markets Automotive Aftermarket Investment Banking Group. With over 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience, he has provided Mergers & Acquisitions transaction advisory services to private equity groups and their portfolio companies, private companies and public companies.
Mr. Sparacino joined BB&T Capital Markets in 2011 and has advised dozens of companies in the automotive aftermarket, retail and consumer, and food and beverage sectors during his tenure. Previously, Mr. Sparacino worked in investment banking at Harris Williams & Co. and Citigroup Global Markets, where he primarily focused on sell-side M&A advisory and capital raising transactions across various industries. Prior to investment banking, he worked in the corporate strategy group at Textron, Inc., where he was responsible for coordinating strategy development and capital deployment across multiple business units. Mr. Sparacino began his career as a financial analyst with the former automotive sensors and controls division of Texas Instruments, now known as Sensata Technologies.
Mr. Sparacino received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a bachelor of science degree in finance from Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
